There’s a real buzz in Cefneithin, Cross Hands, as the young stars of New Heights Performance Academy prepare for an exciting milestone that promises to be more dazzling than a disco ball at a wedding!
Each week, the academy is alive with energy, enthusiasm, and creativity as children dive headfirst into the world of musical theatre.
With two dedicated classes, New Heights ensures every child is supported at the right stage of their development.
The first class welcomes little ones from Reception to Year 5, introducing them to singing, acting, and dancing in a fun, confidence-building environment. Think of it as a delightful mix of “The Sound of Music” and a bouncy castle!
The second class, for Year 6 and above, allows older students to refine their performance skills, strengthen their stage presence, and grow into confident young performers, like caterpillars transforming into butterflies, but with jazz hands!
Now, all that hard work is building towards something spectacular. On March 14, the Cefneithin Cross Hands students will join forces with the Waunarlwydd academy for “New Heights Live, A Magical Journey Through Musical Theatre,” taking place at the Ffwrnes Theatre, Llanelli.
This vibrant showcase will whisk audiences through the golden eras of musical theatre, celebrating beloved classics from the 1940s to the present day. With uplifting music, movement, and storytelling, it’s bound to be a night to remember!
